A 2025 Look Back: Building Anastasia’s Bedroom
Share
2025 was the year Anastasia’s Bedroom truly came to life — not perfectly, not easily, but honestly. What started as a quiet idea rooted in my love of lingerie, confidence, and self‑expression slowly unfolded into something real, tangible, and deeply personal.
Like most small businesses, the year came with its fair share of highs and lows. There were moments of excitement and momentum, and others filled with doubt, slow days, and learning curves I never could have anticipated. Building something from the ground up teaches you patience very quickly — and humility too. There were days when I felt overwhelmed, when progress felt slow, and when I questioned whether I was doing enough. And then there were days that reminded me exactly why I started.
One of the greatest constants throughout this year was the unwavering support from my family and friends. From encouraging words and honest conversations to helping hands and emotional reassurance, I truly could not have done this without them. Having people believe in your vision — even when it’s still taking shape — is a gift I’ll never take for granted.
A major milestone for Anastasia’s Bedroom was my very first pop‑up. Seeing the brand step out from behind a screen and into a physical space (a booth at Pop Collective) was both nerve‑wracking and exhilarating. Connecting with customers face‑to‑face, hearing their stories, watching them light up as they discovered pieces that made them feel beautiful — it was a reminder that this business is about more than products. It’s about confidence, comfort, and self-love.
Throughout the year, I had the opportunity to make meaningful connections within the lingerie and small‑business community. Conversations with other founders, makers, and creatives reminded me that this journey is shared — that there’s room for collaboration, learning, and mutual support. Each connection added a layer of inspiration and reassurance that I’m building something within a vibrant, passionate industry.
One of the most memorable experiences of the year was traveling to Montreal for the Curve Show. Being surrounded by international brands, designers, and industry leaders was incredibly inspiring. It felt like stepping into the bigger picture of what Anastasia’s Bedroom could grow into one day. Curve reminded me that dreaming bigger is allowed — and necessary.
And finally, the launch. Putting Anastasia’s Bedroom out into the world officially was both terrifying and empowering. Hitting publish, sharing it publicly, and standing behind something so personal was a leap of faith. But it was also a moment of pride — proof that something that once lived only in my head had become real.
As I look back on 2025, I don’t see a year defined by perfection or instant success. I see a year defined by courage, learning, connection, and heart. Anastasia’s Bedroom is still growing, still evolving, and still very much a work in progress — and that’s okay.
Thank you to everyone who supported, encouraged, shopped, shared, showed up, and believed. This is only the beginning.
